The Night Before Christmas at RainMaker Signs

The Night Before Christmas at RainMaker Signs

2-night-before-christmas-rainmaker-signs-seattle-waTwas the night before Christmas,
when all through the shop
not a designer was designing,
the machines were all stopped;

The vinyl was rolled neatly,
in the corner with care,
The sign makers had the day off,
I’m the only one there.

When out in the studio
there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my office
to see what was the matter.

When what to my wondering eyes
should appear,
but Santa and Elves,
the shop commandeered;

With state-of-the-art knowledge
blades lively and quick,
I thought for a moment
it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than Graphtec
the production, it came,
“Santa” they said,
“is now a brand name!”
;

Now banners, now graphics,
now signs
and displays ,
on walls, on windows,
on tradeshows each day;
on the top of buildings,
on walls in the mall
,
on trucks and on trains,
on vehicles all
.

So up on the worktable
the production it flew,
the precision, the colors,
the fonts were all new.

And then with a jingle,
I saw on the printer,
emerging a vision that
from my mind would not splinter;

For spectacular branding,
the core essence must show,

the character and benefits
must sparkle and glow

He spoke not a word
but went straight to his work
he rolled up his graphics
and turned with a jerk

He sprang to his sleigh,
with a chuckle and smile,
yelled down to me,
“My brand’s already viral”;

I heard him exclaim
as he drove out of sight,

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
