As Shorewood High School's students went back to school this fall, they discovered some changes on campus - various wall graphics that showcase their school spirit. The Shorewood High School booster club worked closely with RainMaker Signs to add inspiring new wall graphics to the high school.
A Student-Centered School In Shoreline
Shorewood High School was established in 1975. However, their campus is a lot younger than that. In 2011, the high school underwent a renovation and construction project. New buildings and facilities were added to bring more classrooms, athletic fields, and amenities for students. This school construction project well reflects the Shoreline school's emphasis on broad student development, including academics and co-curricular activities.
A student-centered school comes with a supportive booster club - a group of parents who crowdsource to invest in activities and programs that enrich their children's school life. To achieve that, these parents take on the role to promote school pride and spirit. The school wall murals that RainMaker Signs produced and installed were one of the projects the Shorewood Boosters spearheaded. As part of their spring auction, the booster club added a "Raise The Paddle" challenge to pay for more inspiring school wall graphics planned for later in the school year.
Enhance Students' Commitment With School Graphics
RainMaker Signs prepared three different wall graphics for Shorewood High School, all of which represented the school's culture and values. A 10 ft x 10 ft school logo wall graphics and a 14 ft x 9 ft mascot wall graphics were installed in the Commons area. The school logo and the mascot are elements that reinforce school pride and spirit to students, faculties, and even parents, growing a sense of commitment among these individuals. In addition, these wall graphics are especially helpful to new students, allowing them to familiarize with the new environment.
The third 9 ft x 9 ft wall graphics RainMaker Signs produced features a phrase cloud that was applied at the school's stairwell landing. This meaningful graphics contains many positive messages. Walking past this phrase cloud gives students a great pep talk and energize them with a positive mindset. All the graphics were produced at RainMaker Signs' in-house studio with wide format HP-Latex printer. The use of latex ink does not release any toxic solvents, making the graphics durable and safe, ideal to be used in environments with high interactions, such as schools.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! The murals are up and we could not be more pleased.....Thank you again. It has been a pleasure working with your company."
- Laura Kalvoy, Parent Of Shorewood High School's Booster Club
