In 1918, the TIAA was established to guarantee a comfortable retirement for educators. And through 100 years of time, TIAA now operates across the United States, and is ranked as the 82nd Fortune 500 Companies. Seattle and Bellevue are the only two TIAA locations in Washington. After a recent rebranding, TIAA worked with a Vancouver signage company to replace all their office signage. RainMaker Signs is honored to be serving TIAA's Bellevue office on behalf of our Vancouver signage partner.
More Focused Service Offerings For Educators
TIAA, which stands for Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, was formerly known as TIAA-CREF (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund). And earlier this year in February, CEO Roger Ferguson made an official announcement about their financial institution's name change. This rebranding decision signifies TIAA's determination to offer a more focused and distinctive financial planning services based on their foundational mission, vision, and values - to prioritize customers by offering them excellent, integrity, and accountable services achieved through team work and well valued employees.
To serve more professors, instructors, and academic researchers in the Pacific Northwest, TIAA opened up a new office in the Bellevue Pacific Center in November 2014. As a local signage partner, RainMaker Signs was appointed to lend a hand in managing the Bellevue signage replacement project to assist in achieving customer satisfaction despite geographical barrier.
Office Signage At TIAA Downtown Bellevue
RainMaker Signs partners with signage companies across the United States to fulfill project management services for one another. This service allows our out-of-state clients to manage signage projects in multiple locations at ease. In this project, RainMaker Signs' installation team updated three types of signage for the financial institution: a monument sign, some glass door graphics, and a lobby sign. The main goal of this project is to remove all TIAA's old branding and replace them with TIAA's new logo.
- Monument sign: the exterior monument sign is a simple vinyl graphics, however, it is likely to be the first signage that TIAA's visitors see upon their arrival at the building.
- Glass door graphics: the vinyl glass door graphics are positioned to the eye level of visitors who enter the TIAA office. It also prevents people from accidentally bumping onto the glass door without noticing it.
- Lobby sign: while the previous office lobby sign was a bland acrylic with a frosted graphics, the new reception sign is a colorful graphics that feature TIAA's new logo.
A Crucial Step In Rebranding
It would be totally meaningless if a brand does not replace signage of all channels after a rebranding. RainMaker Signs is experienced in signage rebranding projects for our clients who are engaged in different industries. See our Portfolio for more monument signs, lobby signs, and glass graphics.
