As a local Bellevue signage company, RainMaker Signs feels honored to be serving different large and small businesses in the community. In this project, our team produced and installed fire safety signage in the stairways of Bellevue Place, part of the Bellevue Collection which is just minutes away from our studio.
Developer And Owner Of The Bellevue Collection
The Bellevue Collection consists of three different buildings: the Bellevue Square, the Bellevue Place, and the Lincoln Square. Owned, developed, and operated by Kemper Development, the Bellevue Collection is the top dining, shopping, entertainment, vacation, and even residential place for locals and tourists.
According to Mr. Kemper Freeman Jr., CEO of Kemper Development, the Bellevue Collection is expanding and more amenities will be added. Leading the city to prosperity, Kemper Development has been rooted in Bellevue for more than sixty years. The Bellevue Place where RainMaker Signs installed self-luminous signs is a mixed-use center with hotel (the Hyatt Regency Hotel), offices, restaurants, and retail boutiques.
Fire Safety Signs Comply With The Bellevue Fire Code
The Bellevue Place has 21 floors with two stairwells. With more than three floors, it is compulsory under the City of Bellevue Public Information Handout F-54 that floor identification signs must be displayed on all levels. Also stated in the document are the requirements of the stairway identification signs which comply with fire safety regulations.
RainMaker Signs installed three self-luminous fire safety signage on each floor of the 21-floor high rise. Being self-luminous and photoluminescent, meaning the ability to illuminate itself without electricity, is an essential quality of the stairwell signage. These photoluminescence signs facilitate the rescue and evacuation in case the building has to be locked down for incidents. And during blackouts and fire, electricians and fire responders can easily find their way to tackle the issue with the help of the signage.
A Requirement To Pass Your Next Inspection
RainMaker Signs' stairwell identification signs are designed according to the City of Bellevue sign code. All the necessary information are clearly stated with black vinyl letters applied on photoluminescence acrylic bases. See more examples in our Portfolio.
We have prepared the following list of articles to help you learn more about self-luminous signage:
